What does event photography cost at Clickography?
Clickography Ltd offers photography from £50 per hour, with a minimum three-hour event booking. At that starting rate, three hours begins at £150. This is Clickography’s own starting offer, not a claim about the average price of photographers across London.
A starting rate is most useful when you understand the brief behind it. Your final quote depends on the coverage, number of photographers, editing requirements and travel. Tell us the venue and what needs to be photographed so the agreed price reflects the actual work. Event videography starts from £250 and is quoted separately according to the scope.
Edited digital photographs are delivered within 24 hours of the event through your client gallery. Professional film photography, prints and albums have their own delivery arrangements. If a particular image must be ready for a press deadline or an announcement, mention that before booking.
Choose the three hours that matter most
Start with the moments that have fixed times: an entrance, speech, cake cutting, performance or product reveal. Then place the photography window around them. Coverage that begins too early can finish just before the photograph you most wanted.
For a birthday celebration, a practical three-hour outline might reserve the first part for the room and arrivals, the middle for guests and family portraits, and the final part for speeches or the cake. Treat that as a conversation starter. The venue’s schedule and your own plans decide the order.
Share any gaps between activities. If the room is being reset or guests are travelling to another venue, we can discuss how that affects coverage. Do not rely on a supplier guessing that an important moment has moved.
Give the venue information that changes the job
Send the venue’s full address and the best contact for access. Loading arrangements, stairs, lifts, parking and the distance between rooms can all affect the time available to photograph your event. If there are two locations, include both.
Tell us whether the event is indoors, outdoors or a mixture, and whether the venue restricts flash, lighting equipment or where a photographer can stand. For an outdoor plan, identify an indoor alternative. These details are more useful than simply asking for a particular camera.
Clickography works around the country, with a focus on London and surrounding areas. A venue outside London is welcome; include the location when enquiring so travel and availability can be confirmed rather than assumed.
Ask for the photographs you will use
Think in three groups: people, atmosphere and details. People might mean an essential family combination, speakers or your team. Atmosphere might mean the room as guests arrive or a busy dance floor. Details might include flowers, table settings, a product or the birthday cake.
Keep the essential list short enough to be practical. Give one person who knows the guests the job of helping gather any planned groups. If you are booking for a business, explain whether the finished photographs are for a website, social media, print or a launch announcement, including any useful portrait or landscape crops.
Discuss anyone who should not be photographed and any accessibility needs ahead of time. A clear brief helps the coverage fit the people and event, rather than forcing the event to follow a photography checklist.
How your gallery works after the event
Your edited digital photographs arrive in a private client gallery. Your email address is your login, and you can review the photographs, comment on individual images and send editing requests in one place.
Where payment is still outstanding, you can view protected photo previews. Original downloads and full films remain locked until payment is confirmed. If you have paid by cash or bank transfer, the studio can confirm that payment and unlock the collection manually. Available video trailers can be made viewable before payment.
Once access is unlocked, use Download all to collect the delivered files, or choose individual photographs. A guest QR gallery is a separate option: people at your event can add their own photographs for other guests with the event link to enjoy. It complements the professional coverage.
Send this with your enquiry
A short, specific enquiry makes it easier to discuss the right coverage. Include the following, even if some timings are still being finalised.
- Your date, venue address and preferred start and finish times.
- The type of event and approximate number of guests.
- The essential moments, people and details to photograph.
- Whether you need photography, videography or both.
- Any access restrictions, privacy preferences or fixed delivery deadline.
- Whether you would like a guest QR gallery.
